Lily & Sunshine

It started at that specific hour when the sun is high enough to be warm but not yet harsh — when garden colours are at their most honest and a lily in full bloom is the most saturated, most alive thing in any space it occupies. That particular pink that only exists on a lily petal. That particular yellow that only exists at the tip of a summer morning. We wanted both of those things — together, on your hands, where they belong.

Every set of Lily & Sunshine is handcrafted with a blush base so soft it reads almost bare — warm skin that has spent the morning outside. Butter yellow tips are applied in a French shape, but warmer and softer than any classic French tip, the colour of sunlight caught at the edge of something. On the most adorned nail, a hot pink lily is sculpted entirely by hand — every petal shaped individually, curving and overlapping the way a real lily does, stamens drawn in fine gold strokes at its center. On the quieter nails, a single hand-drawn star sits in a corner like light that found the right angle, small and deliberate and perfect.

This set carries a particular kind of happiness — the uncomplicated kind that arrives with warm light and an open flower and asks nothing of you except to enjoy it. That is what it feels like to wear it. That is exactly why it was made.
